Whenever someone asks me to describe myself I always find it tricky because I don't think I'll ever know fully who I am, I'm constantly finding out who I am and discovering new things about myself. For now, I'll just give you a list of things that I've found out about myself:
- While studying at Aberystwyth University I found out that I am actually a people person. I always knew how to care for sick people but I never thought I was any good at talking to people and engaging in conversation.
- Most people don't do eye contact! I noticed this in myself first then realised most people shy away from others eyes. I've tried to address this personally with a reasonable amount of success.
- Originally I was going to become a nurse, but when I realised that after my A Level in Drama had finished I wouldn't be able to go any further with my actor training and this seriously depressed me so I stayed on an extra year at college gained two more AS Levels and applied for a Performance Studies degree.
- The thought of never being able to act again scares me but motivates me to be the best that I can be.
It isn't the most extensive list but I don't really want to bore you with my qualifications or what I think I'm good at, these are just a portion of the elements that make up me and 'who I am' I suppose.
